We're Alexander and Thi Yen. Before Danish Wedding existed, we wanted to get married ourselves, as a binational couple with documents from several countries. Court exemptions, apostilles from different consulates, certified translations. Month by month the stack grew, without us getting any closer to a marriage certificate. Then a friend told us about the Danish route.
In Denmark we found the solution, and that one case became the starting point for everything that followed. What began as our own wedding turned into a precise study of the Danish process: every quirk of Familieretshuset, every apostille rule per country of origin, every document pitfall a binational DACH couple can encounter. What was a problem for us back then is our craft today. We know the pitfalls before they appear.
Danish Wedding was born from that knowledge. Today we do for other couples what we wished for ourselves back then: read each case individually, plan each unusual constellation early, catch each pitfall before it costs weeks. Personal, compact, no call centre: every couple has a direct line to one of us, every application is read by a human, every WhatsApp lands in a real inbox.
