This notice applies to consumers habitually resident in the EU, in particular in Germany and Austria. Customers in Switzerland generally have no statutory right of withdrawal under Swiss law; we voluntarily grant them, by contract, the same 14-day right of withdrawal on the terms of this notice.

1. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, an unambiguous statement to us (Danish Wedding Koltman, Alexander Koltman, Fluhmattstrasse 31, 5400 Baden, Schweiz, phone +41 76 345 31 73, email info@wedding-denmark.com) informing us of your decision to withdraw is sufficient, for example by letter or email. You may use the model form below, but you are not obliged to.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at wedding-denmark.com/en/vertrag-widerrufen. If you use this online function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by email) without undue delay, with information on the content of your notice of withdrawal and the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

2. Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

Important note on the AFL authority fee: Only in the Complete package is the Familieretshuset authority fee (approx. €281) included in the fixed price; that portion is forwarded by us 1:1 to the Danish authority after the order starts. If your application has already been submitted to Familieretshuset at the time of withdrawal, this portion can no longer be refunded by us, any refund is then governed solely by the rules of the Danish authority, whom you would need to contact directly. Before submission, this fee is of course part of the full refund. In the Essential and Apostille packages you pay the AFL fee directly to the Familieretshuset, it is not part of our fixed price and therefore not subject to our reimbursement.

3. Early expiry

If you have requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period (e.g. by immediate start of the document review), you are required to pay us a reasonable amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if we have fully performed the service and you have expressly agreed to the start before the end of the withdrawal period and at the same time confirmed your knowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal upon full performance of the contract.
